Timothy E. Messmer, DPM

Board Certified Podiatric Surgeon

“As a podiatrist, I see patients who are often debilitated with both chronic and acute foot and ankle problems.  My goal is to use the most advanced treatment methods and surgical procedures available to return those patients to an active lifestyle as quickly as possible.”

Dr. Messmer is a Washington native, having grown up in the Seattle area.  He graduated from Calvin College with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and then completed four years of training at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland.  He went on to his residency specializing in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Messmer is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.  He is the past Chief of Surgery at Island Hospital.  Dr. Messmer has been quite involved in the political side of medicine as well.  He is past president of the Washington State Podiatric Medical Association, and serves as a Washington state delegate for the American Podiatric Medical Association.
